Back in Destiny 1, Bungie released some really cool strike exclusive rewards. One of the top weapons from the list is Devil’s Dawn sniper rifle (which is also my absolute favorite). Its unique look and perk made it a go-to sniper rifle for DPS bosses in raids, strikes, and other PvE activities. Fast-forwarding to Destiny 2, at launch, Bungie removed the strike specific rewards from the game as it was focused on casual players more. While they did add Nightfall-exclusive loot in the game, we still don’t have anything for normal vanguard strikes which diminishes the reason the play vanguard strikes.

Bungie needs to add More Strike Specific Rewards in Destiny 2

With Forsaken, we’ve received a number of new nightfall rewards including Mindbender’s Ambition (The Hollowed Lair), Warden’s Law (Warden of Nothing), and Horror’s Least (The Corrupted). Talking about the Vanguard strikes, we don’t really have an incentive to grind these except to complete bounties to quests that require us to complete a specific number of strikes. A Destiny 2 player on Reddit created a huge list of strike specific rewards that we think should be added in Destiny 2. You can check out the complete list of these strike specific rewards here.

Other than that, Season of Dawn is going full-in with Obelisks and Saint-14’s storyline (head-butting machine). On January 28, we’ll be getting a new exotic weapon called Bastion. It’s a kinetic fusion rifle (finally) with a really cool aesthetics. We’ll have a complete guide on how you can acquire this exotic weapon soon.

Destiny was released on September 9, 2014, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Destiny 2 was released on September 4, 2017, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It was released later in 2019 on Google Stadia.
