Kojima Productions (developers behind Death Stranding) just released an update on their Twitter handle updating the players regarding their appearance at Game Developers Conference this year.

The tweet reads, “Kojima Productions has made the difficult decision to cancel our participation at the 2020 Game Developers Conference due to increasing concerns related to coronavirus. Although much-anticipated, unfortunately, this cancellation also includes Hideo Kojima’s session on the 19th and Eric Johnson’s session on the 16th.

Recently, PlayStation and Facebook also canceled their GDC appearance for this year due to the increasing Coronavirus concerns. It is understandable as the safety of everyone participating always comes first.

Recently, Hideo Kojima teased something related to Death Stranding with context “Coming 2020.” We don’t know what exactly would it be. But many fans are speculating it to be the PC release of the game. Read more about it here.
