Sony Announces ‘PlayStation Indies,’ Nine New Title Coming To PS4 And PS5

PlayStation Indies has been announced by Sony just recently. This is a great spotlight for all the PlayStation indie developers.

Head of PlayStation Indies, Shuhei Yoshida, took on the PSB to announce this amazing news for all the indie devs out there. Furthermore, Yoshida mentioned that starting in July, a new PlayStation Indie title will join the PlayStation Now service every month. For the month of July, players can expect Hello Neighbor developed by Dynamic Pixels.

Along with that, Sony also announced that there will be nine new titles coming to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 with the official announcement coming later today. You can check out all of these nine newly-announced titles coming to PS4 and PS5 below.

F.I.S.T: Forged in Shadow Torch

F.I.S.T: Forged In Shadow Torch is an action platformer developed by china-based devs – TiGames. The game features a bunny wielding a massive metal fist to demolish enemies. F.I.S.T: Forged In Shadow Torch will be coming to PlayStation 4 soon. According to the TiGames website, F.I.S.T. will be launching on PS4 as well as Steam. Watch the brand-new trailer below:

Maquette

Maquette is a first-person recursive puzzle-solving game developed by Graceful Decay where “the world is nested inside of itself.” The game will be launching on PS4 and Steam soon with no exact release date revealed yet. Watch the walkthrough trailer Maquette below:

Where the Heart Is

Where the Heart Is, is an adventure title developed by Armature Studio, devs behind Dead Star and Recore. This gives out Life Is Strange vibes from its new trailer. WTHI will be coming to PS4 in the winter of 2020. Check out the new trailer below:

Creaks

Creaks is a 2D adventure title developed by Amanita Design, developers behind the classic indie titles like Machinarium and Samorost. Creaks is a puzzle-solving game where the player will use lights to solve in-game puzzles and progress through the story. Watch the new gameplay trailer for Creaks below:

Heavenly Bodies

Heavenly Bodies is a game featuring a body in space in the absence of gravity. As an avid player of video games in space, Heavenly Bodies is going to be a must-play for me. It is developed by 2pt Interactive and is scheduled for release in August 2021. Check out the new reveal trailer below:

Recompile

Recompile is a game in a digital world developed by Phigames. The game will be coming to PlayStation 5 with no exact release date revealed yet. Watch the new gameplay trailer for Recompile below:

Carto

Carto is also a puzzle-solving adventure title developed by Humble Games. The game will be launching on the PlayStation 4 this fall 2020. Check out the new announcement trailer for Carto below:

Haven

Haven is a co-op adventure game featuring a journey of two lovers. The game is developed by The Game Bakers and will be hitting consoles and PC later this year in 2020. Watch the new glide free trailer for Haven below:

Worms Rumble
