Animal Crossing was originally released in 2001 and developed and published by Nintendo. Last year, Nintendo during their E3 2019 press conference, revealed a brand-new installment in the series called – Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This new title is set to be released on Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2020, along with the new DOOM Eternal game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If you’re a keen Animal Crossing fan, you might’ve heard of the Animal Crossing grandma.

Yes, there’s an 87-year-old grandma who has been playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf on Nintendo 3DS with over 3500+ hours invested. It’s been over four years and she’s been playing the game ‘almost every day.’

A new image from Reddit shows that the Animal Crossing grandma might appear in the new Animal Crossing game after all. We know that her name is Audrey and her in-game Gamertag is Audie. As spotted by the Reddit user, there’s a wolf that’s been named Audie which looks more intentional than a coincidence. Take a look:
